Greenpeace now will have a reason to celebrate. We all should too. Why not? Thanks to this teenager, Daniel Burd and his plastic-eating bacteria discovery, there is a definitely a lot of reason to party. Burd discovered a bacteria which will eat plastic, one of the worst man-made pollution problem planet Earth has ever witnessd.

Plastic pollution is a major threat because its takes hundreds of years for the plastic to degrade. Even biodegradable plastic degrades very slowly and only if in a sealed landfill.Personally I hate plastic littered all over.

Now that calls for a toast for Burd! Don’t you agree?

 The word "Exam" itself sends chills among many of us. Most of us should have taken up an exam at one pint of his life, be it a graduate exam paper or license exam/test. My exams are currently happening and I feel exactly like depicted in the picture ..lol. Just wondering how many like the idea of exams or having exams at all. Take a poll and say your say!

Now you can know what movie is playing at what time in your city by using Google’s Movie Search. This has been around for a while but more recently introduced in India. It lists the show timings & contact details of the theater. One nice thing is noticed is that they, along with a tag to the Internet Movie DataBase [IMDB], give out reviews too; along with driving directions using Google Maps.

US: http://www.google.com/movies

India Specific: http://www.google.co.in/movies

Other countries: Just replace the last part of the domain name with your country specific domain. For example, if you are from China, change the www.google.com/movies to www.google.cn/movies

PS: My friends noticed some errors creep in with some results, especially when they change the movies, so its always better to crosscheck with the theater for conformation.

Try pronouncing this word "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious". Yes, it is a valid word and not some tongue twister and has the record for being one of the longest words in English language! So how did you fare in the pronunciation?

Coming to the etymology of the word, it is the name of a song from the English film Mary Poppins. Richard Lederer from his (obviously titled) book "Crazy English" tries to dissect the word for us.  The roots of the word are  super- "above," cali- "beauty," fragilistic- "delicate," expeali- "to atone," and docious- "educable," with the sum of these parts signifying roughly "Atoning for educatability through delicate beauty."
